T60RPmk2 ReviewAJURIKA, a self-contained general musician, used T60RPmk2.
It is the best.
This is exactly where the “best sound” is.
I have been using the previous model, T60RP, for 5 years now. It was a great headphone with a really beautiful spatial expression, suitable for listening to the whole image of a piece of music. The only thing that was missing was the bass, and I felt that it would be perfect …… if the kick drum and bass sounded more like they were closing in.
Then the T60RPmk2 appeared on the market. Having already heard the T50RPmk4 with the new RP drivers, my expectations were high. The moment I connected the T60RPmk2 to the headphone amp and heard the first sound, I was convinced that these were extraordinary headphones.
Truly, they are the best.

They made my ideal come true.
The sound field that evokes a vast space, the delicate and silky highs, the distortion-free and high-resolution midrange, and the ground-crawling ultra-low tones – the degree of perfection with which the entire bandwidth is reproduced with a comfortable margin is so impressive that one can even be moved by it. It is truly a terrifying level of perfection.
I usually create music for a wide range of genres, including vocal music, orchestral music, and dance music, mainly for fighting games and music games. I use different types of headphones and speakers to suit my needs, but there are always “pros and cons” with playback equipment, such as “emphasizing the bass masks the mid and high frequencies” or “making the high frequencies sparkle stings my ears.
It is difficult to find a device that “sounds good all the time.
However, the T60RPmk2 has achieved this ideal.

Listening Track Review
Song 1: Exoplanet (Kalki Remix) / Protonica
This is one of the first songs I always listen to when I audition new equipment.
It is a psychedelic trance piece, and the expressiveness of the equipment is tested the moment the kick and bass come in at 1:50 from the vast soundscape of the intro.
With the T60RPmk2, the sound is just perfect.
The powerful bass, the quick rise to power, and the subtlety with which the reverb is rendered right up to its fading point – everything is executed at a high level.
Song 2: Quantum (Virtual Riot Mix) / Astronaut
This is another song that has been a staple of my listening.
The beautiful strings in the intro followed by the vocals confirms the delicacy of the vocal expression. Then, from the 55-second mark, space-filling drums and bass appear, testing the separation of sound and the ability to reproduce sound at high sound pressure.
On the T60RPmk2, vocals sound lustrous.
The sound is smooth, as if the contours of the sound are nicely evened out, and the texture of the voice is very natural. I was amazed at how even at high sound pressure, the sound was reproduced with a superb sense of separation and without sound collapsing.
Song 3: Embark (Original Mix) / Virtual Riot
This is the first track on Virtual Riot’s album. It features a film music-like composition.
Listening to this track on the T60RPmk2, the intro strings give off an impressive sense of weight and three-dimensionality, and the ultra bass drone from the 1:30 minute mark is so powerful that you can almost feel the air shaking.
Song 4: Deep Jungle Walk (Original Mix) / Astrix
The introductory ethnic instruments move from side to side as the sounds gradually overlap, and from 1 minute 23 seconds the kick and bass explode. The kick and bass explode from the 1:23 mark. I hope you will experience the realistic sound of the T60RPmk2 as if you were listening to a three-dimensional acoustic performance.
The beauty of the reverberation, the spatial expression, the power of the bass, the rise of the sound, and the delicate treble – the true value of the T60RPmk2 is here.
